Can I retain my XM radio?

I have a 2005 Escalade. It has a Lifetime XM radio subscription. Can I put a new head unit in and retain this or am I going to lose it with the new head Unit?

My experience is that you can retain your lifetime subscription. Your new unit will require you to register to sign on to XM. Hopefully, you retained all of your membership information.

I transferred membership, when I purchased a Cadillac SRX recently. You can call support service, if you run into problems.
