Hi there, I have a Eclipse 12" sub with 4ohm dual voice coils... rated @ 470 watts RMS for the 2 voice coils...

Now I have a 4 channel Alpine amp(new models) rated @ 75x4 RMS @ 4ohms and also rated bridged @ 2x200 watts RMS @ 4ohms...

Now can I bridge the front 2 channels to power one voice coil and the rear 2 channels to power the other voice coil?

Is this possible or dangeroous to the sub?

THX in advance

So this would be giving the sub a 2ohm load then bridging the front and rear channels of the amp and making them a 2channel connection?

Any diagram or something like that?

So can the front channels of the amp bridged and the rear bridged be joined?
