Can dynamat extreme get wet from wateR?

was thinking about putting some of this right under where my tires are i mean above my tired i guess they call it the fenderwell or somthing like that will this make sound difference and can it get wet?

Should be fine. Products like this were originally designed to be weather proof. Just make sure you clean the area you apply it to. It could make a difference.

That is what I would do. If you are really intent on adding deadener to the wheel wells outside the car then you would have better luck with a liquid deadener like Second Skin Audio's spectrum or sludge.

it won't rattle, i had that problem and just washed my car that day and put dynamat extreme in that area since it was nice and clean, hasnt fallen off yet and if water hits the surface of the Dynamat it'll just bead off.

The foil on Dynamat extreme is aluminum, which will corrode, but will not rust.

Same basic idea, but the corrosion that forms on aluminum is white, not brownish red like that of steel.

Apply a layer of scotch guard on top of the foil if you are worried about it
