Can 12" L7's hand 1000 watts and...

i wanna get two 12 inch l7's for this amp.

If not, what 12'' subwoofer do you recommend that can handle 1,000 watts and is under $200.

I was thinking this, but not sure if it will be able to handle 1,000, or if it will be compatible wit that amp

theres 2 diff ones on ebay, not sure what to get, 1 is 4ohm and 1 is dual 2 ohm.

and what u mean "know what you're doing"...cuz i wanna be sure these subs can handle tha power.

also any other suggestions for subs that can handle 1,000 for under $200?

go with dual 4s if you are getting 2. that way you can wire down to 1ohm and get the most out of that amp.

he means do you know how to set gains without clipping, how to wire the subs to the amp, how to make a box that wont suffocate or is too big for the subs, etc,etc

the l7s will handle 1000rms as will the t5s if you install right

thanks, im actually doing 4 (huge trunk, crown vic), but wit 2 of them amps..that doesnt effect tha ohm thing does it? and yea my music man is installing everything/ setting gains and making my box to tha kicker specs.

L7s are bigger than circle 12s..and require more box area. Just fyi. My friend put a TMA 1000.1 (made by jl audio) on a l7 in like a 5 cu box and it ..well it sounded like shit like most l7s do..but it hurt ur ears and rattled everything beyond belief. Maybe you could fit like 2x 15 l7s..If not id just stick to 2x 12s..it'll get loud, thats what l7s do best.

if im not mistaken they have a guy on here that has 4 15s in a vic and 4 18s in a Caddy STS the trunks on those big bodys are huge
