It absorbs resin like a sponge and that isnt where you get the strength of "fiberglass" from. you get it from heat polymerization of the resin and fiberglass mat when it becomes a polymerized glass composite.  I find it easier and much cheaper to find the most stretchy material you can(lots at walmart) and that that. Hell ive seen people make A-pillars outta resin/mat/ pantyhose. All you need is a basic shape for the initial lay up. The lighter and stretchy it is, the better.  Imho</p></blockquote><p></p>
