Came here for rear speakers, Came away with the following

well i had a "system" that i was entirely happy with .. that was until i gave my truck to a trans shop to have them fix my busted up automatic trans .. They managed to blow a rear speaker along with many other issues non sound system wise ..

This setup consisted of a pioneer deh p77dh with a audiobahn a8000t amp and two rockford fosgate punch stage 2 10 inch subwoofers in a prefab MTX thunderform box under the rear seat of my dodge ram ..

well i came here looking for a cheap decent set of replacement rear speakers ..

ended up coming away with a hole lot more than i bargained for .. the following are now lying happily in my truck ..

PG RSD65cs in the front ,

PG 6.5 coaxials in the rear,

kicker zx650.4

AQ HDC3 12 dual 2

AQ HDC3 12 dual 2

AQ 2200d

AQ 2200d

38 HZ 5 cube ported box

60 square feet edead v2 sound deadening on floor ,

30-40 square feet raamaatt on the doors,

50 feet voodoo hexoganal zero gauge wire

3 feet off brand local car audio shop 1/0 wire

25 ~ feet 4 gauge

50~ feet 12 gauge speaker

40~ feet 16 gauge speaker

back seat MIA

Although the only shop in the area with a meter is an audio control or something like that

the engine i have is very loud ..

With windows down one set of speakers aint gonna cut it ..

and for being the *in* items ..

I sure do love the sound quality and sheer wow factor of this set up ..

not to mention i had a budget that i more or less stuck to ..
