ok and traxxas said they run the truck before they sent it back to me so that might be why it was a little dusty too im just trying to explain everything im looking for the paper that tell what all traxxas did to the truck then ill post it for everyone to see

Maybe you should've said the truck was LIKE NEW, not the supposed BRAND NEW as listed in the original post:

They had brand new ones for under $400, and the rest of the stuff you sent me (some parts broken) ain't worth $450.
OK, so you got a $250 amp, but I was upfront about it and told you that I traded it for another amp I had, that it came with no end caps, and showed you full size pictures (800x600). Not like the tiny azz pics you sent me (200x150 and smaller).

As it was, there were portions of the bottom of the box that was soaked in gas. And gas spewed out of the muffler when I picked it up.
As far as swapping items back, it ain't worth it, unless you gonna cover shipping for everything. The amp I sent you was alsmost $30, and I remember you saying that you paid like $40 to send me the truck and parts.
I'd rather cut my losses as is, and try to have a shop get the truck up and running.

On my way home from work, I came upon an interesting tid bit ... we initially exchanged each other's eBay feedback and he gave me his wife's account which had a good rating (over 300 positives), cuz he didn't have one. So that's cool, we agreed on the trade.

So you'd figure that after we saw that the other person had good feedback, that everything was gonna be ok ... but he insisted that I give him a UPS tracking # before he would send out the truck.
I just checked the UPS tracking #'s and wouldn't ya know that he coincidentally shipped out the truck the same day he received the amp. He gave me some excuses about bad weather and having to work long hours, but I held up my part of the bargain, and he dragged his feet. They could've been legitimate reasons, but looking back on the whole process, everything didn't look right from the get go.

ok, 1st off, I have had my T-maxx for about 2.5 years, and I have had others to send back to traxxas, the fact that you say they sent it back to you with fuel in the tank is BS Nitro fuel ATTRACTS moisture, if you would have bothered to RTFM, then you would know that is why they recommend using WD40 after every run.
I call the BS flag on this one, I think what happened was, you couldnt get it to run right, cause trust me they are a bit of a pain to get running right, but after you do, oh AND break them in properly, they run GREAT! Anyway, so you decided to sell it, I also think that maybe, just MAYBE, you didn't break it in properly, and you messed up the piston, and sleeve, and now there is no to little compression, trust me, I worked on it for about 1.5 hours, new fuel, 3-4 new glow plugs, and new starter, no go, didn't even sputter.............I think you KNEW this didn't run when you sold it.

ok first off all the people that are getting mad at me i understand why because you can take out on me all the times someone has bent you over but hey whatever gets you going have fun but this is the truth and you can believe it or not believe it when traxxas sent it back it was suppose to be new the motor is not messed up its new i know this for sure and thats all that matters when the guy at the hobby store tell you what is wrong with it let me know and ill pay for it if its anything thats my fault maybe the gas got moisture in it all i know is traxxas is the last people that had it running not me and they said everything was perfect on it so there thats my story and nemy is a dumbass he could have fixed everything through me but instead decides to make a big deal like i said ill cover what it cost but i guantee its just a tuneing of the carb but like i said ill cover the repairs im trying here if my point was to bend him over i wouldnt bother with explaining myself would i? would i care if it didnt work? this should show im trying to fix the problem
