Nice, me and my dad have a bunch of muscle cars...78, 79, and 80 Camaro...2 63 Novas, 3 57 Bel-Airs, and a 78 Mustang King Cobra...

The 80' Camaro has the tunnel-Ram set up with 2 4-Barrels, its a .30 over 350. it was a back up race motor for a stock car a Barberton Speedway here in Ohio. I think its 16.5/1 compression. It also has 4.10 gears. All the fun stuff like the dry ice cooling, ignioton booster, etc. and its all motor, no juice.

Anyway we took it to Norwalk when it was just singel 4-Barrel setup, and they thought the ignion box was an "electronic" so they put us in a class higher than we were supposed to be. Well they line us up against a Malibu that should have blown the doors off us. So he comes off the line, and surprisingly gets the Malibu off the line, comes out of first gear, and throws a belt. He coasted down the track and still ran 16 second out of one gear LOL!!! Eat that all you little ricers!!!

Needless to say, when we got it back home he put the tunnel ram set up and $8k worth of pulleys in it from summit. We have 4.56 gears waiting to go in and it already pulls so hard the front left wheel comes off the ground and he had to have the frame tied because it was twisting the frame. Est. 600HP ALL MOTOR. No induction. No NOS.

Sorry for the long post, but i figured you guys would enjoy a good story.

very nice akron. yeah me and my dad have been working on that el camino since day one it's a bish to track down parts for a 77 everyone other year can find but 77 hardest year. but she is still getting alot of work done to her. I don't think it will ever been done:D.
