I hate Cali...
This is one of the dumbest things I have ever heard of. The reason there are cancellation fees is because they have given you a discounted rate and discounted equipment. If you can cancel anytime the risk of future revenue is too high. SO, your rates will go up, mobile to mobile will go away, free features will go bye bye, and phones will be VERY expensive with out much push for new phones.

this is true. although most companies already charge extra for things that are supposed to be free.

or give you a temp discount and then you get a bill thats far more than you expect since you are unaware
