Shoot if every country did that I would swim to Sweden for health care, crash a boat off Japan for cheap electronics, and then swim to Austrailia for some R&R all the while on their government assisted programs, living large off TAX payer $$$..

Just an FYI the whole make it to shore policy is only for Cubans... If you are Mexican, Dominican, etc... they'll still deport your ***. I guess Cubans are political refugees because of Castro and all.

I think the problem is that they are coming here too many too fast and most people aren't comfortable with such a change in demographics. Look what Miami has become over the past 20 years... Even South Beach is this way.. it went from high end to little Havanna over night.

They want to turn it into a racism issue that whites just want to supress another minority. When the clear fact is that they are the ones causing the problems. If you get in a wreck in a border state good luck trying to get a DL or insurace out of them cause most of them don't have it. Their 12 kids come over here and turn the public education system to shit (e.g. Texas, Cali, FL, etc..) When they get sick they go to Hospitals that can't reject them and are unable to pay for their healthcare (hence why we have such a huge problem).

On the flip side most of the Mexicans/Immigrants that I grew up with were stand up people. They are very hard working, value family interaction, and are willing to share whatever they have. I worked during the summers growing up at a grape vineyard and they will work sun up to sun down with no complaints.

So I'm split on the issue. I don't think we should consider them fellons as they are here for good reasons (The American Dream) but we do have to get a handle on our borders. IMO Canada's border will be much more difficult to monitor as the division is non-existant in the Mid-West (when considering a terrorism threat).

as a CA resident, immigrants make up more of the population than we do. It is seriously rediculous the amount of immigrants in CA..around 52% are Mexican..

I know we should let people in, but when is too much? How much cultural meshing do we need in order to be considered "nice"? Mexicans dont give a fuk about the US, especially the immigrants. They just want to use us for jobs, but fuk paying taxes,etc. like we do.

Werd. The ones we hear about in the media are the ones we hate, but the ones we know, are standup people. I personally know many illegal, and legal immigrants, all people I respect. However, I do know that the ones who aren't out working are the ones we dont want..its a matter of limiting the amount we let in.

America already is a cesspool or cultures we don't even like, let alone agree with, but if you let too much diversity affect our culture, we won't have a culture to call our own.

Then again, our culture is focused on hell-bent world domination by the white elitists...so I dunno if we really do want our culture to be prominent...

This whole we want Jobs thing is BS..

There have been studies from Schools, States, and the Fed, that show that only 20-30% of illegal immigrants actually do find long term jobs.

That means that at any given point in time 80-70% of the other illegal immigrants are just sitting around waiting or looking for work..

It is a complete LIE to say they are looking for jobs, they know it we know it.

They just to make money to feed their children and the healthcare to take care of their children, who will turn around and do the exact same thing as their parents did. Leech us.

If we were to cut that supply line many many children would die and people would starve and we might create anger but, in time it would only help them to attain a population that is capable of looking after itself.

All Americans need to do is in a collective voice pass laws and regulations on immigrantion and to deport current illegal immigrants. Last, to increase border patrol.

A small 1 billion in increased funding and advancement could stop almost 85% of illegal immigration, researchers and border patrol directors have said.

No fence no wall, just modern technology and the manpower to enforce it.
