hey i dunno if this is the right place to put this but i have been in talks with jason from cadence audio, he has some zrs 10s that the case's are a little beat up. he will guarentee them to be fully functional but they dont really come with a warrenty they are as is, BUT they are only 150 apiece if i can get 4 more people to buy them other then me. so basicaly he told me if i buy 5 or more they are 150 apiece and if not they are 200 so im trying to get some kind of group buy together to get the 50 dollar discount and this is 150 shipped. if you are intersted let me know.

You're worried about a minuscule amount of distortion going to you sub? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif
ZRS-10's are top notch, no higher distortion than any other solid amp.
yes i am. I want the best sound quality i can get and from the research i've done on these i think i'm going to wait until i have enough to get a different 2000-2500 watt amp.

You won't notice any audible difference; rated power at .5%thd and 1%thd doesn't make any difference...but pay more money if you want.

To the people that have received these do you honestly feel that they put out 2500rms??
you realize in that thread that is on 11v with 1.3 ohm resistance... don't you?

i can't say that off of 11v any amp will do very well compared to it's 14v rating...

unless it's regulated...

still great deal for the power... it is very possible that you could get 2500w on a solid 14v electrical...

if you are so concerned with researching things before you buy them... be sure that you have a good environment for them as well... it does you no good to buy a quality amplifier and than have a crappy electrical.

Has anyone that has got theirs benched it yet? I've read mixed reviews on what they actually put out. I need 2000 watts @ 1 ohm. Will it actually do this after the voltage drop and what not?

Thanks, thats a great piece of information //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
np.

honestly if it was me... worry more about quality, efficiency customer service... etc.

1% thd and .5% thd.... you wont hear.

there are some big threads about it. if you have a solid 500w SQ amp with .1%THD and another amp that isn't sq oriented but with 1% THD. you will not hear it.

search for it there are some very big threads and topics discussing it.

yea, 1% distortion is not audible at all to the human ear. So that's why there's so many ppl fighting over the fact that amps at 0.002% THD and 1% THD aren't different at all since u can't even hear the difference between the two. IMHO, if it's 1%, it's gravy....at least for my subs //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif

I am more concerned about it doing rated power and if it's clipping or not when giving the power.

too many put emphasis in thd imo...

I have had sq amps and many "non-SQ" amps.

honestly only there wasn't much difference between a 1200w PG amp and a zapco 1100.1...

but this amp should be able to do 2000 watts at 1 ohm without clipping right?
