Does it show people when they aren't online? I already have a user on my friends list but the bar says "You have no friends in your friend list, please add a few friends to use chat" which would make me think I don't have any friends at all (online or not)

I guess the one guy I knew in real life that was on my friends list either deleted his account or de-friended me because my friends list is empty, lawl... Did anyone else lose friends when Goob implemented the chat bar?

Also if you click on someone's name there's an option to add them as a contact...what's the difference between adding them as a contact and adding them as a friend?
