They have true 2.7 volt outputs on their lower end decks (where as the Alpine decks will reach 4 volts when they are clipping pretty much). Some Alpine Type Rs would be about as loud as those L5s but actually have SQ. If you wanted to spend more you could buy some Eclipse alluminums (very nice sub for their price). Maybe two 10" or 12" of either. I would sell that PG amp though and get a smaller and better one if you went with either of the above mentioned subs.</p></blockquote><p></p>
