well i'm getting a nice check on monday, so i think it's time to try out some new stuff.

i want 1 sub that will smoke my 2 12" L5's. "there sealed"

price range. 200-350+ maybe more. "i still have other things i'm buying."

power i have on hand 1500wrms@4ohm. "pg t1200.1"

i'm also getting a yellow top and a new deck. if you know any good mp3 decks with 3 4 volt outs, post a link. i don't really want to spend to much on a new deck.

i'm pretty sure i'm getting this deck, same price at the shop i get some of my stuff from but i'll get for like 190 with a "yellow top i think it's 140."

Alpine deck nice... They look pretty cool. If i ever change from my pioneer deck Im either getting a Fold out 8600mp Pioneer. or a Alpine. They just look so sweet. But they cost the green. How are those Bass boosts that alpine decks carry? My pioneer has a EQ built in thats why i love it so much.

I would definitely look at Eclipse decks. They have true 2.7 volt outputs on their lower end decks (where as the Alpine decks will reach 4 volts when they are clipping pretty much). Some Alpine Type Rs would be about as loud as those L5s but actually have SQ. If you wanted to spend more you could buy some Eclipse alluminums (very nice sub for their price). Maybe two 10" or 12" of either. I would sell that PG amp though and get a smaller and better one if you went with either of the above mentioned subs.

i'm not sure about the better amp part, my pg t1200.1 is a solid amp. i also have a kx1200.1 i could use if i wanted but it's in my girls car.

i'll definitely check out Eclipse afew people have told me they were real nice.

Why not go with some IDMAX's or just one. You gonna get another Ti1200.1 b/c of the wreck?

Also, are you interested in trading that KX for a XS100 or straight up selling it?

Sorry i didnt mean to bash your PG amp or anything, what I meant was that it would be too much for two Alpine Type R's or two Eclipse aluminums.

my girl uses the kx she has 2 12 rf punch stage 3 or something like that. plus i love the amp and i store bought it so it wasn't cheap.

i want to run just on sub that will handle the power of my t1200.1.

no i told them i wanted one cause it got banged up but they didn't care.

i got 2500 for the wreck, i paid nothing for the car and the car is still mine. i'm going to sell it to the junk yard for 100 bucks on monday. i made out pretty nice and i got a free 2002 pontiac gran prix rental car.
