Hey looking for some advice from some real audiophiles. I have a 2009 BMW e92 335i equipped with the 825w 16 speaker individual audio system. Mids and Highs are Amazing, however the bass is lacking. I am looking to add just a little more to the low end. What should I do. On BMW forms most recommend a Sub in the trunk, or replacing the factory 8" subs that are under the seats. all my inputs to the system is done through a nexus 7, and a fiio e10k dac into the factory 3.5mm in the arm rest. Question ONE: get RCA out and remote from factory system I have a wiring harness to add an amp, but it just gives high level outputs(35+ volts so i was told). the cheap line level converter didn't work. I was also told that because the factory amp is class D you cannot get a remote power on for the amps out from those signals. I am trying to replicate this (https://technicpnp.com/product/premium-harness-wlc2i/) I found a harness used, but dont have the LC2i. Question TWO! replace under seat subs, or box in the trunk. With adapters The only under seat subs I know will fit is the SWS-8 2ohm or 4ohm (Link 4ohm) Would also need a 2 channel amp to run them in stereo. has anyone with a trained ear heard these subs? any good? Or what kind of setup could I do in the trunk. I would Like to keep it small probably a single 10 or even a good 8 is fine. SQ setup. Not looking to blow my ears off, and BMWs are sensitive if you look at it wrong you get a check engine light. would adding a 3rd sub to the environment sound odd? I have a mini DSP 2x4 from a previous build that might help with tuning it. Budget would be around 200-250 usd, but I would probably try to find something used local. (905 Area) Sorry for the long post, I jump around with my thoughts a lot just ask if you need somthing clarified. lol Thanks for any help
