Ok so I guess the way I was looking at it is I was trying to set my eq using the speakers themselves because my type-r's I have amped now have the perfect amount of midbass and I want to equal out with a bit of bass from my sub, which is actually impressive for my needs, but would like to tighten it up with a box made for it. On top of that the infinities are good for highs, or so I've been told. From there I could set my stage with the gains. Maybe we were on different pages when I say sq. I want the best sound quality I can get for me without breaking the bank, but I don't plan on entering competitions. That head unit sounds like a good thing to look into though. So what alternative directions could I go with it to have what I want, since I really just am a research warrior. I don't have real knowledge on this stuff like you guys. Thanks again!
