I went on to install the Image dynamic ctx65cs's next. Running the wire into the doors proved to be a pain in the ***. I didn't want to do it ghetto so I had to remove my fenders to get a clean run with grommets. The knu cl3 14 ga speaker wire is kinda thick with the amount of insulation on it-it is what it is. I also did a Big 3 with 0ga as well as replace the main ground and even the starter wire-not that that helps anything, but it looks better with all matching wire. In the near future, I will upgrade this battery to something like a yellow top or hc 1400 o5 1800.: I next took myself to school on box building. I had some input from members here and then had a member design me a simple box for my RE se/x 12d2. I wound up going with 2.2^3@ 33 using a 4" aeroport. The reason for the slightly bigger than spec size box was due to my current choice of budget amp, an MB Quart 4125. I only have 500w rms to feed it. Heres my handy work: Then I just painted it. My trunk is not finished yet, its ***** right now with a towel under the box and some mlv. I have to build a new floor and install new carpet.: The amp is also the same way. no carpet right now. I have to get it back in there!
