Just wondering if there are any Buddhist on the forums? I'm very intrigued by the beliefs and the religion, would like to be able to read up more about it, and talk to more about it. If anyone comes in here that is not a Buddhist, please state what religion you practice. I myself am an Evolutionist. No, I do not believe that we came from ape only, but I do believe that we came from something other than 2 people that just APPEARED out of nowhere.

I in no way wanted this to turn into a heated discussion, I just wanted to see what the other members hear practiced/believed in. I'm not the type of person to downgrade the people that do not believe in my beliefs, everyone has the right to their own opinion. The only thing I dislike about anything religious are the people that if you don't believe their religion is the right one, either think you're going to hell, or push it on you. I'm glad to see some of you don't seem to think of it that way (from what has been said). I was raised as a Baptist, but I started studying Atheism and Evolutionism, and several other religions, and came more to believe the Theory of Evolution more than anything. I accept that most people don't have the same beliefs.

im non-religous religon is just a big cult, (for the extremests) they all have the same thing just different names god=allah and all that stuff...................well thats my POV i dont care if you go to church everyday n stuff like that, thats fine.......i just hate the extremests that are like our religon is the best now lets fight aboot it
