i have 2 18" btl's hooked up to a brutus 1606. this amp is temporarily...anywys, i was just wondering if this amp was actually able to blow these subs. Is the brutus capable to clipp so hard that it'll blow the btl's? and another thing, is it normal for your subs to get a little warm after playing them for a bit, just a little warm nothing crazy?

why would you even run it to where it would "clipp so hard"?...lol

My Treo gets pretty warm on my Brutus, and my gain is in the 2oclock position, and bass boost is fairly low

Set the gains properly, there's no reason to even clip it a little bit, it will sound like shit and it's hard on the amp.
