BTL vs L7s

I am changing my setup completely over the summer, and i was wondering, i have heard alot about the 15 inch BTLs from FIcaraudio, my question is would one of those be better than 2 of the 15 inch kicker L7s ive heard alot about both but never seen them compared, thanks for any help in advance

he isnt comparing 1 to 1, he is comparing 1 to 2. there is a difference there.

to the OP, the L7s would be louder only because of more cone area. what were you going to power 'em with?? maybe just do i118BTL an be loud an have the wow factor of an 18...

ehhh..wouldnt say that..seen a guy beat 2 15" l7s with 1 18" BTL and 2500 watts

so it would prolly be down to the install on this one

i know that. its just one of those things that if the L7s were put in correctly designed box an had sufficient power more than likely it would be louder.

I used to have 2 15" L7s and then got a DD 9515 off the same power. The 9515 was just as loud as the 2 L7's in half the size of box. A BTL is pretty comparable to a 9515.
