ok here's the deal i had a hd315 i liked but i sold it to my best friend to go in his s10 so now im wondering whether which sub is better for my goal of doin 145+ on music and burp a 150 on 1 15 or18 and 1 amp in my silverado ext cab

i have read that fi is the poor mans dd so im kind of torn

AQ will have an 18 out in a few months if you want to wait. If you liked the HD315 it should be more of a good thing...

not buying new and new dds at my dealer are like 600+ i liked the aq buti think they are going to go up on pricing as well and i aant to try new things looking for sumthin thats spl oriented but can be wanged on daily

out of the brands you mentioned I think AQ is the most value...

and it would do what you want if you do it right...

man you shouldve kept the aq 15. i dont see why that sub couldnt do a 45 on music.

my boy offered me 350 for it so i sold it after only havin for a week and a couple of days of playin it it was loud did it feel like it had a 50 in it on my 2250 no it didnt thats why i want to tru something new i have nothi n against aq at all

I was pointing out that performance to value it is very good quality
