Actually, I agree with bgowdy. Aside from Garth, 98% of country music is summed up by this: I got drunk, met a girl, rode a horse, got drunk, lost my girl, shot my horse, got drunk, im lonely, got drunk, the end.
It's depressing, too slow, and often talks about people being absolutely retarded. Rap isn't much better, but at least it's catchy and more often than not has some bass. Rock is where it's at (real rock, not pop culture rock where ******* have someone else write their songs and sell out shows to 14yr olds)
