I know that's why I was surprised as well. haha. I'm using this solder exactly. Bernzomatic 4 oz. Leaded Solid Wire Solder-327789 at The Home Depot. I soldered my ring terminal onto my 4 gauge with that torch with no issues at all. The best part is, I just started soldering too. Haha. I got a nice pool into the terminal after a few seconds with the torch. Works really great. It was only $10 too. My crappy Weller wireless soldering iron was more than that. Best thing I've bought in a while too haha. When I tried soldering the copper itself, the solder balled up. And if I kept heat on it, it would fall off completely. I didn't understand so I just gave up. haha So if I get those plugs, I could twist the wire and insert it with no issues?
