Hazel Park, Mich. -- Michigan State Police have shut down I-75 in both directions at 9 Mile Road in Hazel Park due to a tanker explosion and massive fire.
Thick black smoke can be seen for miles away.
Tanker Explodes, Shuts Down I-75
The 9 Mile Road overpass bridge over southbound I-75 has collapsed, and the bridge over northbound I-75 is also in danger of collapsing.
The tanker is reported to have been carrying around 9,000 gallons of a mixture of gasoline and diesel fuel when colliding with another semi-truck.
Officials are not sure what caused the crash, but said there was a large explosion and fire reported, said Michigan State Police Lt. Shannon Sims.

Also, they're were 2-3 more trucks that exploded, and they dont know how many cars, or how many fatalities there are. And, one witness said they saw the tanker driver jump out right before the tanker exploded. The tanker was carrying around 9,000 gallons of gas and diesel.
