Brax Matrix goodness

Any chance they provide some response curves for that component set? I'd love to see what it is exactly that makes em worth the 2500 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

i don't have the equipment to do that...these aren't the only pair of speakers over 2500....there is plenty of them

Yes, i know there are tons of high end extremely expensive speakers //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif I'd love to see response curves of the rainbow reference line too... too bad they don't provide that stuff (i didn't expect you to be able to make one //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif)...i'd have thought they'd have tons of documentation, to justify the cost to prospective buyers.

A FR curve isn't going to tell you why they are worth $2500. For one, the frequency response is going to be dramatically altered once they're in the vehicle. Likewise, you can EQ the response anyways.....so imperfections in FR aren't big deal (unless they're from severe break-up nodes). Spectral decay plots and distortion analysis would be better.....but in the end, it's all about what the ear hears and not what's on a piece of paper.

About the only way you'll ever find out why a speaker set costs over $2.5k is by listening to them in a proper installation.
