Sold Brand New Usamps Old School Merlin!!!

well it is rated at 65 RMS per channel, but I have a Merlin 4260 that is smaller (less power transistors) that is rated at 65 RMS X4. This Merlin is larger and I believe it is bridgable. The guy who sold it said it was brigable. If it is, then you are looking at over 260 RMS at 4 ohms.

No, i did before.

I only have a broken M4260. Needs a diode or transistor replaced or something...

Im gonna try to fix it when i have time.

Only 4 channel i have.

Im looking to use this to power a set of horns, how much real wattage (actual power, do you have a birthsheet for this?) would I get at 8,4, and 2 ohms?

I have heard the Old School US Amps amplifiers are heavily underrated, or is this an exception?

Underrated is true. It doesnt have a birth sheet. But i would half and double the power as you half and double the impedance.

Email USAMPS and they will get you all the info you need on this amp.

What i mean is at 2 ohms you would get about 130 per channel and at 8 maybe 32.5.

pure speculation though. educated speculation however. I based this guess off of what most other USAMPS do.

Are you sure Toronto isn't in Spain? Portugal maybe? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

Nice amp for sure, I wish old school finned heatsinks were still the norm.
