Brand new OZ Audio Matrix Elite 15" for trade!!!

Well... heres the deal. Its a blown sub. But, I contacted OZ, and this is what they told me.

"Hello.

I am looking for some information, and I hope you can help me. I currently have a Matrix Elite 15" subwoofer. Although, it has been blown. It is definitley in need of a recone. I know its no longer under warranty, due to the fact I bought it second hand, from ebay. Would you be able to point me in the right direction to getting it repaired? Id like to use it again, but its not operable in its condition. Please keep in touch, as I would definitley like to continue using this driver.

They replied:

"I can sell you a warranty replacement for $120 + shipping let me know if this sounds good to you."

I said:

"That sounds like a pretty good deal to me. How would I go about doing this?

Ship you my blown driver, as well as the $120 + shipping costs, and you ship

me a brand new driver? Is that pretty much how it works?

And finally:

"Since you are buying a warranty replacement we do not need the old driver. We can complete this via PayPal if you wish, and that way we can ship your replacement out today. If this is what you want you need to provide us some info for the invoice:

Name

Address (shipping)

Contact number

Email address for your PayPal account.

And we need to know if this is a dual 2-ohm or 4-ohm.

so are you going to get the new sub then trade it or you tradeing the blown sub not sure what your doing

If I was to get it redone, id be selling it for alot more. Im lookin' for some trades. Due to the fact that it will still cost the buyer 120 bucks for the new one. Its just more of a PITA for me to do it. I need a battery, a set of comps, various subs, amps.... whatever! lol. The buyer wont need to pay shipping on a blown sub to them. Only need some information. I mean, if you want it also, pay shipping, you can have the blown one too. But all you need is some information, call up OZ, and they send you a brand new one!

so u want some sort of trade for the info on the sub so that someone can get the new sub cheap? So if i trade you some thing you would tell me how to get it then right

Exactly. I have to give you all the information off this blown sub, which you in turn give to OZ. they then ship you a BRAND NEW in the BOX ME 15". For trade + $120 bucks. Its kind of a PITA, but it really ends up being worth it. The sub sells for like 429 factory direct from them.

so why dont you just send them the money then you sell the new sub?

2 reasons, one I have already dished out the money for the sub, which i was told was in working order in the first place. Then to dish another 120 bucks out, is just not worth my time.
