Brand new Grand Cherokee hu have rcas?

the only car I have ever done in 8 years of installing with RCA's from factory was an Isuzu Trooper with premium sound.

Or the tiburons with the factory kenwood radio.

But does the jeep have the infinty or the boston acoustics sound system in it? if so, then you'll have to get signal between the amp, more than likely the front doors even and the speakers. If it doesn't have those systems in it, and is base, then you can get the signal off the back of the radio.

Also, amp turn on will be easiest to get at the cig lighter below the a/c. The right one is constant, but the left one is accy. (this info applies if it is the newest body style GC)

get under the back seat where the factory amp is. tap your hi/low convertor into those speaker inputs there before they go into the amp. that way you're closer to where your new amp is going to be anyway, makes it easier. http://www.wjjeeps.com has a wiring diagram for the factory system so you will know which wires to use. you can even tap your remote wire into that harness...
