Brake Fluid?

Depends on how long she plans on having the car. I got my truck brand new and plan on having it for 10 years or 200K miles, which ever comes first so I had my brake fluid and coolant flushed at 30K and will do it again about 100K. I do all the oils myself.

You don't need to change your brake fluid until you can't stop anymore.

Seriously. Ask then for some valid reason that she would need it flushed. There likely is none, unless there is tons of water in with the fluid.

The fluid is just used as pressure, and doesn't get "Corroded" or anything. I wouldn't re-use brake fluid... but there's absolutely no need to flush it if the brakes have no previous problems.

Well, my girlfriend got her oil changed the other day... and like those places always do trying to get money.. you gotta do this u gotta do that.. we RECOMMEND it. pssh.. anyways my question is.. the guy told her she needed a brake fluid flush. but she got the car a year ago... its a 2001 Ford Escape her dad apparently toped it off and made sure it was running good befor she got it.. so do you guys think its necessary for them to do a brake flush they wanna do it for 70 bucks lol

i take my car to precision tune on mobile hwy right next to the car wash, keith is the only person i would let touch my car. they don't bullshit me over there.

Whenever you have your brakes done it is good to flush with fresh fluid. Brake fluid does absorb moisture and will corrode lines from inside out. **** fluid from the busket up top then fill will fresh and bleed until you get clean fluid. power steering fluid also breaks down but not so much as brake fluid its so cheap why not just **** out the tank and toss some new power steering wile you are at it.They are not lying to you but may be just upselling you.

If you are a tight cornholed bastard you wont listen any way and will be like the people I would tell that their tie rods are about to break but think i am lying and just trying to rip them off.It is fun watching people like that break down.

there are test strips to check for moisture but its just easier to clean the fluid when you get a brake job.
