Brain???

I want to know what a brain is. Not the brain in a security system, but one for an HU. I was wondering if I need one for my kenwood. Thanks

usually just for monitors with a lcd screen, the brain just has all out of rca outputs and inputs and what not, you most likely do if you have a flipout.

im thinkin bout gettin a kenwood KVT-717DVD but it doesnt say anything about a brain and its used. Does that mean it probably wont have one? and if so, does that mean i cant hook it up to my system?

well then yes it could potentially need a brain, why not just search for it on google and see what comes up.....or gives us the model
