Bracing Head Unit?

Is there a way to brace my head unit so that when Im playing my subs at the volume at which my gains are set, the cd wont skip? I mean the whole unit shakes profusely when the volume is up. Running 2 18" MTs off of 2 orion 2500s.

i use metal straps, im not sure what they are called... have holes running the length of them... and kind of tied it into the kit

I think thats called plumbers strap, thats a good idea.
