So i drew up two box designs so far and need some input.

Pros: subs face roof, around 5.5 cf. my fav,
Cons: The top where the subs sit would only be about 14". One inch on each side is nothing. I could go bigger but the box would be 6cf

Pros: Alot of room for the face of the subs. 5.5 cubic feet, probably the better one
cons: faces trunk hatch which i dont like.
MyQuestions!!!
1.Will the subs be louder with them facing the roof? or to the trunk?
2. Two DD 3500 will be in this, they are recommended 2.5 each. Is building a box to big bad?
3.Will i need to brace?
4. Will some one plz tell me how to port these boxes!!!
The dimensions already in the sketches have to stay along with the angle. It can only be 42 wide and 20 high. The depth can change to make more room or less.
