Heres the rule of thumb when choosing your tuning frequency: 20-30 Hz for SQ (sound quality), 30-40 for SQL (balance of SQ and SPL, and 40+ for SPL (generally only used for competition boxes). Also post how many watts you wil be feeding the sub. When under powering subs, it can usually be a good idea to make the box sligthly larger than the recommeded volume.</blockquote>
