Perhaps it is though, to say "HEY" to new peeps interested in the hobby. That's how I roll, I help all interested peeps. There has been like one with comp experience and he (tommy) stops by every 6 months.......yep that is helping the community. Its not a moderators job to help the new people. They are here to deal with keeping the forum clean. Nothing more. Also, there HAS been mods with comp experience. You either weren't around or weren't paying attention.
There was more than him. As I said, before your time here. As I said though helping new members isnt their job. If they have time to post in a thread here and there or pm a member thats asking for help then thats their choice but I assure you on a active forum moderating will keep you VERY busy. When I moderated I rarely had time to answer random questions and such on the forums. I had all I could do to keep the forum clean. Now if there are inactive mods then they need to be replaced. As for the others, you need to remember they are volunteering their time. They arent expected to be on here moderating 12 hours a day.Perhaps it is though, to say "HEY" to new peeps interested in the hobby. That's how I roll, I help all interested peeps.
