Hail to the King Baby!!!!
Right now, I have Boston RC620 comps, and they sound very good to me, as it is the only comp set that I have heard. Would upgrading those midbass's to dd midbass's make much of a difference? The comps were in the car when I bought them, so can someone give me info on how they compare to others?

Passive crossovers are designed for use with specific impedence drivers. If you change the impedence of the driver connected to the crossover, the crossover point will change (which is usually not a good thing). So you can only replace a speaker being ran with a passive crossover with a speaker of the same impedence.

Easy way to tell.....whip out a DMM and measure the DC resistence of the mid. If it's somewhere in the 3.x's, then it's safe to assume that it's a nominal 4ohm driver
