Since Im having such a hell of a time finding a SI Mag, I might go with the Boston Oval sub if I can get one for the right price.

Just wondering who here has used one and how did you like it?

i never messed with the spg555 but i had the g5 and loved it sounded great in evey box i put it in. i even overpowered it for a while in a box way to big and it took it finei could never get it to mechanical limits either.

the spg is a great woofer, a built a box for one around 2 cubic foot @ 32hz and they guy put a 900w boston amp one it and he was doing 143s another good feature is if you blow it, or want to add more power....just unscrew the voice coil and replace it

Well I just found a local one for a steal. Under 300 for the sub and amp. Gotta love broke college students trying desperately to avoid getting evicted/dropped classes. Feels good to be on the other side of that fence for once.
