I currently have a G5 and GTR 12" Passive Radiator in my hatch in 1-cube. It is tuned to 45HRz and hits hard. Would a Ported 2-cube sound deaper adn better then the Passive radiated box? Do Boston G5's sound good in a L-Port enclosure? Please help me.

the passive radiator should give you output similar to a ported box already. Have you tried using the lower tuning weights that came with the GTR?

Yes I have, the 45 HRZ actually hits harder but does not go as low as when I had my L-Port Kicker L-7. I am going to reinstall the heavier weights and set the amp up correctly.

I will try that.

How much power are you feeding it anyway? They can handle quite a bit more power than the rms rating.
