Not true really. It could happen that the good BA products people have increase in value since they wont be so easy to attain. Especially to those people who really are BA fans.

I do, but I don't really want to get rid of them. Thats why they are hard to find- too many satisfied owners. IIRC ******* Bobb was trying to get rid of a g512 for the longest time. pm him and see if he still has it.

Boston Acoustics is owned by D&M Holdings which also owns Denon, Marantz, McIntosh Laboratory, Snell Acoustics and other brands.

I am curious how much influence their parent company had.

All of it. They only acquired them recently and Boston Acoustics is being pushed more for the name than it is for the quality. It's better that they're dropping the car audio line or it would have just taken a dive like other brands that have been taken over.
