Boston Acoustics z6's, JL 450/4

I have this in my 01 mustang gt convertible. Why does it honestly not seem really really loud? I turn it up all the way and I dont know my ears might get used to it, but I want louder. I thought these were like the best speakers. I dont understand. I dont know maybe I cant get good sound in a convertible.

convertable is your problem. those speakers are friggen MINT, but unfortunately, you lose a lot of sound with no roof. **** nice speakers though...i'd check the amp, make sure its putting out enough power.

its getting pretty of power the person that was tuning it, while i was in the car. If I turn it up more, it kind of distorts not clean clean sound. Its also wierd that I want more lyrics than sound. I hear so much sound and the voices are low like rapping. I also have 2 extra tweeters in the car where the mach 460 pods are. I had kicker resolutions in there before. So now I have 11 speakers including sub. The bostons are with the tweeter in the door. How do i get more of lyrics?

Good God...waaaayyyy too many speakers. I had the Z6 set with mids in doors and tweets in the pods, and once it was tuned correctly, it was great.

So should I take out the kicker tweeters in the mach pods? I have bostons and tweeters together in the doors and 2 sets of kicker resolutions in the rear. Your actually suppose to keep the mid and tweet closes together, sounds better thats what BA says.
