Ok, so I just picked up a dayton audio DATS speaker analyzer and one of the things that the software requires is the diameter of the piston. It says to measure from center of surround to center of surround....however the SPG-555 is an oval shape. Here's what I did, and am not 100% I did the right thing based on what the software wants, but I measured the circumference and then divided by 3.14. It turns out the SPG is 33 inches around and that works out to 10.5 ish. So, I used 10.5 as the diameter of the piston area. If that's how to do it great. Or if someone knows the actual diameter value I'll plug that in. The numbers compared to the original OEM specs seem quite different than those I got when using the DATS. Does this look right to any of you? This is the 2 ohm version.
