Well Im bored and have a ton of mids/highs sitting around. So I decided that Im going to put them on a big baffle and power them up in my room for shits and giggles.

The board is 37x49. It will have:

4 Eminence Alpha 12s

8 Eminence Alpha 6s

4 Eminence Supertweeters

4 Selenium ST350 Bullettweeters

Will be powered by a ghetto ass JVC boombox that says 350rms total power.... And that incudes the sub channel, which is powering 2 ported Polk DB12s.

Honestly, it should be ghetto as ****, but makes no difference to me. The wood is already sitting in my garage, and I wanna see how loud it will be.

This is how it will be laid out. A 12 in each corner, the 8 6s in the middle, 2 Eminence Supertweets on each side (squares) and 2 Seleniums on top and 2 on the bottom (larger squares).

Going to start measuring and cutting them out now. Using a old jigsaw, and its probably going to look like ass since I cant cut circles freehand to save my life.

You need some crossovers and it could actually work. But why not build two towers instead? Much more practical.

Honestly, you could build a decent set (or two) of full range PA/DJ cabs with those drivers.

You dont need crossovers when you are going to be seeing 5rms a speaker. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif I already have 2 Alpha 12s and 2 Selenium tweets hooked up with no crossovers... They play from about 150hz up. The tweeters dont even distort a little since they are seeing such little power. Ive been playing them this way for quite a while now, and no problems. Ill play them full tilt for hours and they always work just fine. I was nervous at first, but I just took it slow.

No point in making full cabinets. These are getting ripped out soon and used in my car. If I felt like doing it right, I wouldnt have so many speakers, actually get a reciever and a HT amp for them, and build some nice looking cabinets. But this is just for shits and giggles, so it is costing me nothing. Already have the wood, the speakers, etc. This entire project doesnt cost me a penny.

I built a box for 2 12" Polks and knew it was going to stay for a while so I did it nice and finished it and everything. Turned out great.

Work is underway. Almost got all the holes cutout. Just taking a quick piss/drink break.

All cut up. I took the picture on my cell before I was done and there is now another Selenium Bullettweeter on each side... And no Eminence. So it has 6 Seleniums and no Eminence. And there is also 2 Seleniums between each top and bottom 12.

Just gotta wire it up and Ill take a video. It looks ghetto though... Not covered or anything at all, just bare wood.
