That's a 12" basket in the middle. Not exactly tweeters, but that's what I call them since no one local knows WTF I'm talking about when I say HLCDs.

well, being that MOST compression drivers I am familiar with are 8 ohm that's ~37 watts or so... and I'm sure that'd be enough... the RMS on my drivers is 60, and I wouldn't even consider running them that high... I would like to retain SOME hearing later in life.

Are you running fully active, and what kind of equalization are you sporting?
