Its rare to get caught downloading movies

x2, all of my friends download movies, my one friend has like 150, same with full albums etc. ive never even heard of someone getting busted for just downloading, but i have heard of ppl who record the film in the theatre on camera then upload it to 10000+ ppl getting caught, but i mean thats jus cause you have to be a moron to do that shit

as for copyright infringement, you'll notice at the beginning of movies it states no "reproduction" of the movie etc, so basically it's illegal to share it with other people, most people who get in trouble are not ones who have the movie, but who have had the movie uploaded from them.

Torrent sites don't release information about who downloads what though, so it's hard to find out who has what when it comes to torrenting.

It's still possible to get in trouble, just by having the movie they will always find loopholes to screw you over.

but why download? It's stupid, there are plenty of websites online that host the videos for you to watch, completely legal, the only people that can get in trouble here are the websites.
