Rattling isn't necessarily indicative of overall loudness but rather failure to properly deaden various panels.

A low to moderately powered setup can rattle like nobody's business //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

I know what you are talking about, and usually it's just because their trunk isn't properly adjusted to be closed all the way (it's not tight). To me, it is a sign of laziness, because they obviously know that the trunk is rattling. There are always ways to fix rattling, so there should be no excuse //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/furious.gif.fc81ca146dbff91fede3ed290dbc4f4c.gif Dynamat isn't extremely expensive, sound deaden the **** trunk!!
