Opened just to look at. Bought from flakko about 2 weeks ago. Dont have pics but he can vouch for me. Not looking to make any money just asking what i paid. 350 + shipping. Got a deal on a couple of dual 2 ohm subs so now i need to buy an amp thats 2000 - 2500 at 2 ohms, and not at 1 like the merlin does. Trades are welcome.

hehe overhead is when you have more amp power than you really need. its good because you arent pushing the amp as hard, and when you push the amp hard that causes heat. heat is a bad thing for amplifiers as well as speakers.

also i would reccomend an MD3. it will do way over 2kw and will push those things nicely.

both....the md2's strapping has been scrapped for now until the end of the year, then they will be strappable

MD2D - 550w @ 4 ohm, 1000w @ 2 ohm, 1500w @ 1 ohm

MD3D - 650w @ 4 ohm, 1200w @ 2 ohm, 2000w @ 1 ohm

All of these specs are based on 14.7v stability. MD2D is not strapable...MD3D is strapable.

Our shop SPL vehicle is currently running 2 RE Audio MT 18's on 8 MD3D's....two strapped per coil.

Does anyone have anything to say about an orion xtrpro 2400. I was proposing a trade for the us amps, but Josh did not know enough about the amp. I need a .5 ohm stable amp and he needs a 2 ohm stable amp. Any comments are appreciated
