Notice the free box plans in the sticky, I think they are ported though.

You could build this without the port, put 2 holes in the front instead

of one.

I knew a kid that had 2 of those same exact subs. They were good till he hooked them to his 1500-watt rockford amp and wired them @ 2 ohm. One survived the other didn't. Before that he had them hooked to a MTX 1200-watt mono amp and they hit like mother****ers. **** good subs though.

Another friend of mine had two type r's hooked to that amp and they hit just fine. Those kenwoods should be a fine fit for that amp. If not here is some that will definitely do the job.

As for the box I'd go between 1.3-1.5 cubic feet for each.
