blown w7 question

how much does it cost to recone a 12 inch w7 from jl

i can pick one up pretty cheap but if jl does not do recones it is not worth it

or do u guys know someone who does recones for these (ie. team psi)

A lot of people know how to recone here. Do it yourself. There's always a first time

actually you have to redrill the motor to recone these. talk to TeamPSI.

The answer is yes, JL does sell W7 recones, but they're incredibly overpriced, almost as much as the original speaker. If you have the sub already, you don't have many options. But if you're thinking about picking up a blown one for cheap, think again. It's not worth the time and effort spent.

last i heard they are 300-400 for a jl recone and you have to send it in to them
