Blown Orion HCCA, thinking of building a beastly sub, need suggestions

Okay I have a blown hcca 15, it's a newer one. I'm not going to say hcca's are all that great, so in my mind shelling out 200 plus for a recone is silly. Now what it will do is attempt attaching that massive motor to something else //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

So here is where I get lost....what should I make, a stout 12...a ridiculous 10....or a more conventional 18"

I'm thinking it would be good to make a smaller woofer with some testiez, because honestly I'm bout done with kicking 8 cubic foot enclosures in trunks. I wonder how bad a 10" would perform with a 400 oz plus motor behind it, I can't even say I've seen any 4" voice coil subs that were 10"

What would you make?

I've tried talking to psi their customer service is a bit lacking, I guess it's gonna be a 12 lol, I want a zv4 surround, but idk about what spider and cone to use, never done this before

May I ask how their customer service is lacking? I've dealt with David (PSI) and also plagued Cory (SPLaudio) and I can NOT say ONE negative thing about either of them. PSI had A+++ customer service as far as I'm concerned... All of my questions were answered within a 24 hour time period. Sometimes less depending on when I sent the email. Both are very smart and will be extremely helpful when it comes to helping you build a subwoofer with your needs and demands.

SPLaudio can hook ya up. He's a good guy and has some great customer service he even sends you progress pictures most of the time.

Not downing them...it just took them quite along time to get back to me, I'm talking like 4 or five days, I assume they are busy
