I recently blew the hell out of an mtx 6000 12, my brother then stomped on it and totally demolished it. should i kick his ***? could it have been rebuilt?

Yea, this is the guy that posted the question, anyway this isn't the only sub I had I got it cause my friend sold it to me in a decent Q-logic box for 30 bucks when it was in perfect working order, I wasn't serious about kicking my bro's *** over it, but I did yell at him for a few minutes, I would have probably just given it to him anyway. However I hooked it up to my jbl bp1200.1 and got a little gain happy and fried it. gotta say though it used to do quite well in my friend's ride for what they cost. But i was just curious if they could be repaired, not that I would even do if if it could. peace

D@mn, seems like we have a car audio genious here. Thanks for letting us know your 15" Solo Baric which is rated at 1000 wRms, can put a Mtx 6000 to shame. I mean d@mn, we were all fooled into thinking the MTX was better. Thanks for letting us know. Now shut the hell up. It's pretty pathetic when some clown wants to come on and talk some smack like they are special, I can guarantee there are people registered in this forum that can put your solo baric to shame, I bet Arcane Paradise who just got the same sub, could make your setup look like sh!t.

Ok now with that being said, let me offer you some advice for the blown sub: check in with the person you bought it from, you might still be able to get it warrantied, and if you really wanted to you might be able to call mtx, and get it fixed or replaced pretty cheap. Hey it's worth the try.

hey, that was my post. my friend bought it from cruchfield about a year ago and when my bro stomped it he broke the center cap but that's really all the cosmetic dmage thats done. I guess it's worth a phone call to see what's up with the warrenty thanks for the input
