Blown L7, rebuild?

I have an early model L7 that the spider has a few tears and is pulled away from the case. Is this rebuild-able?

nope trash or paper weight now the cost of repair it is just easier to buy new and get away from those squares all together..

Ha I feel your pain //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif except mine tore the tinsel leads, it was getting 1100 watts RMS and got beat down.

Nothing wrong with square subs, it may not be the best-sounding sub but it sure is friggin LOUD. Currently you can't recone any square subs except the Kicker Solo-X, Kicker sells a kit for them.

The dual 12" Solo-X that my friends and I installed peaked at 22Hz(!) and can pound your face off in the super lows.

Ok, I had this thing in my 5.0 years ago and it's just been stuffed up in the attic. Its looks like I could almost reglue it as it seems to have just peeled away. That seems like a time bomb though.

I can send you a new spider if you want one.. then it's a matter of tearing the sub apart, gluing down the new spider, and putting it back together...

thats like a $10 fix and will probably take an hour of your time..
